Be yourself, Love Yourself
The problem begins with society
You see,
it has a way of planting a tiny seed
within our mind
covering it with cliches,
false conceptions, and perfect
Idealizations
Layer after layer
only dirt
keeping you from finding
that seed
the pressure to be perfect
implanted
right before you even get a chance
to build your shield of self confidence
To find out who you really are
What your strengths are
And why you’re living
the exhaustion
the uncertainty
the damage
To be something so unreachable
It's not easy
But there is still time for change
So find the strength to dig through and stop watering that seed
only growing into a weed
that's invading your natural roots
now watch it dry out
While you make room for your own self
to grow
Plant your new beginning
And shower it with self love
being as you as you can be
And not trying any harder
you're doing exactly what you should do
blossoming on your own
